Friday July 12th
7pm Introduction dinner at the Broken Hill Musicians Club. Meet the other fans, and the cast and crew in attendance. The three course dinner will be $25 per head. If you are attending this function, then it is recommended that you make a booking for yourself / your group. Just call the club on 08 8088 1777 to reserve your spot.
Saturday July 13th
1pm Matinee screening of Mad Max and Mad Max 2, at the Silver City Cinema, Broken Hill. This may be your once in a lifetime chance to see Mad Max 2 in the actual cinema where it premiered all those years ago... 8pm Mad Max Anniversary Party Night at the Musician's Club. Come in costume - door prizes will be awarded for the best efforts!
Sunday July 14th
11am Gathering at the Broken Hill Community Inc (Sturt Park). The Back 2 The Max replica cars will be on display, and food and drink will be available for lunch.
Please note that due to the cost of acquiring public liability insurance for some venues (including various Mad Max 2 filming locations), some previously planned official events were unable to be finalised. Fans would be encouraged to take the opportunity of any spare time they have to visit the Broken Hill Tourist Information Centre, for information on Mad Max locations and other items of interest.
